Talecom and BT Partner at The Association of Police & Crime Commissioners Partnership Summit 2014
Talecom are proud to partner and support BT at the annual APCC Partnership Summit at the Harrogate International Centre 17th-18th November 2014
This summit provides an opportunity for local and national partners to join Police and Crime Commissioners and other policing governance bodies to debate how agencies can work together to make communities safer, making the best use of our collective resources and drive efficiencies.Look across England and Wales and you will see the difference Police and Crime Commissioners are making to local communities. The event will be an opportunity to share the innovative approaches to keeping local communities at the heart of our services, despite budget pressures and the need to do more with less.
In addition to improving local services, Police and Crime Commissioners have a critical role in making sure resources are available to meet the strategic policing requirement, tackling terrorism and organised crime, and critically, balancing these priorities with securing efficient and effective policing locally. To this end they have also been central to delivering collaboration both locally and regionally.
Keynote speakers will also discuss the challenges senior leaders in the police service face with regards to integrity and public confidence. Police and Crime Commissioners are at the forefront of the police services commitment to tackle integrity issues and the summit will provide an opportunity to discuss the work taking place to raise professional standards to increase public confidence.
