Calderdale MBC chooses Pulse to keep Lone Workers safe and secure
Calderdale MBC has taken delivery of additional Pulse Lone Worker units from Talecom after extensive trials throughout the Borough with various departments within the Council.
The Pulse Lone Worker units use GPS location to keep track of lone workers during their working day.
The users have the ability to raise alarms, the system also automatically checks the lone workers status on a regular basis, in the event of an alarm the status is reported back to a central control environment where trained personnel can speak to the lone worker and direct the appropriate assistance to the lone worker.
The position and status is displayed and reported on the interactive mapping and GPS web based system that has been installed at the Council offices.
