Aiden Dermody
Sales Director
Aiden joined T@lecom as Sales Director in 2007 after an incredibly successful career in sales dating back to the late 80’s.
Most recently Aiden was the Sales and Marketing Director (and one of the original shareholders) for Opal Telecom, now a wholly owned subsidiary of The Carphone Warehouse Group.
During his 10 year employment he was responsible for driving sales revenue from £8m to £350m, building a direct sales team 175 strong and developing a Channel proposition, which turned Opal into a credible and profitable UK fixed line Carrier. His success can be attributed to his desire to lead from the front while maintaining direct day to day involvement in the running of the business.
Prior to Opal, Aiden was the Sales & Marketing Director at Norweb plc with direct responsibility for creating and developing the commercial proposition to allow Norweb to enter the telecommunications marketplace. During his four year post, Aiden drove the revenue from a standing start to £24m.
